Prices and appliance consumption
A starting electricity price is an illustrative assumption, not a live quote or an official tariff. Replace it with the relevant unit rate from your bill. Fixed charges, tariff bands, rebates and taxes may need separate treatment. An appliance's rated wattage is not always its average draw: thermostats, programmes and variable-speed motors change consumption over time.
Solar, heating and vehicles
Solar yield depends on location, orientation, shading, weather and system losses. Heat-pump efficiency depends on temperatures, installation and operation. Vehicle charging can involve conversion losses and additional session or parking fees. Simplified annual models cannot replace a site survey, a supplier's offer, detailed engineering design or verified measurements of the actual installation.

Test a reasonable low and high scenario instead of treating one number as certain. Use metered readings, product documentation and your own contract wherever possible. Seek an appropriately qualified professional for electrical work, installation design or a significant purchase.
