Calculators and essential technical data

Calculations run in your browser. EnergyCalc does not save calculator inputs in a database, create a personal calculation history or send those numbers in analytics events. Delivering the website requires processing your IP address and technical connection information. The main HTTPS site does not keep a routine access log. Redirects, server errors and hosting infrastructure may produce technical records needed to operate the service and investigate faults or abuse.

Hosting and abuse prevention

Contabo provides the VPS in Germany. The application and reverse proxy process requests to deliver the site securely. Contact protection keeps keyed hashes of IP and email identifiers in server memory for a 15-minute limit window; it does not retain the original message in that store. The application keeps no contact database. Diagnostic log retention depends on configured rotation and the volume of records; hosting infrastructure is also subject to the provider’s arrangements.

Contact and email

A submitted contact request contains your name, email address, selected market, subject category and message. These details are used to answer your enquiry, investigate a reported error or discuss a collaboration you requested. They do not enrol you in a newsletter. The receiving mailbox, nex.us.corp.es@gmail.com, uses Gmail. When server-side submission is available, the message is sent through Gmail to that mailbox; otherwise you can email the address directly. The sender address is used for replies. Please omit passwords, payment details and unnecessary documents.

In email-app mode, the form creates a mailto draft locally and does not post your form fields to the EnergyCalc server. Your email application or provider handles that draft and its delivery. You must press Send in that application to deliver the message.

Purpose, legal basis and retention

Where the GDPR applies, essential delivery and abuse prevention rely on the legitimate interest in operating a secure website. General contact requests rely on the legitimate interest in responding to the person who contacts us; enquiries about a requested contract may also involve pre-contractual steps. Optional analytics and advertising require the relevant consent. Correspondence is kept while needed to answer the request, handle related follow-up or comply with a legal retention obligation. There is no automatic deletion of messages from the Gmail mailbox; storage and deletion there are managed separately from the website.

Google services and international processing

Gmail is a Google service. Email processing and access to correspondence are not guaranteed to stay in the country of the web server; Google’s privacy information describes its international infrastructure and applicable arrangements. Google Analytics and AdSense, if enabled, wait for the required consent signals. You can use the calculators without accepting these optional purposes and reopen preferences using the permanent privacy button. The links below identify the hosting and email providers; no advertising or analytics consent is inferred from submitting a contact request.

Your choices and rights

Contact nex.us.corp.es@gmail.com to ask about your personal information or request access, correction or deletion. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restriction, objection and portability, and to complain to a competent data protection authority. You may withdraw optional consent in the privacy preferences; withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful before it. Calculator results are not decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. Changes to providers or processing will be reflected in this notice.

Analytics storage

With your permission, Google Analytics counts visits and calculator events using page and device information and approximate location. Numeric calculator inputs are excluded. The consent choice is kept in local storage under energycalc-analytics-consent-v1 for 180 days. Google cookies _ga and _ga_* identify a browser and session; this site requests a maximum lifetime of 180 days without renewal. Rejecting or withdrawing prevents further analytics loading and removes these first-party cookies. You can change your choice through Cookie preferences; withdrawal reloads the page. Google may process data internationally. Advertising is separate and is not enabled by this analytics choice.
